Concentration

My first time using a black and white film camera was vastly different from taking pictures using a point and shoot camera, because I have to adjust my brain to see black and white contrast instead of colors. Sometimes the colors messes with my eyes and the pictures came out do not appear to be as clear because there was not enough contrast that make the subject of the photo stand out. I spend a lot of time experimenting with my new borrowed camera. For my concentration, I choose to capture the emotions of my subjects: from funny (1st photo) to happy (7th photo); from friendship (9th photo) to love (14th photo); from sharing (25th photo) to adventurous (28th or 29th photos). Looking at the pictures, the memories that come with them suddenly reappear before me. For example, photo number 16, captures my brother’s surprised expression when he saw me with a camera pointing at him while he managed to get to 2nd floor on his own (my mom usually carries him to upstairs)… In the end, I had a lot of fun organizing my portfolio :)
